Build girls of courage, confidience, and character who make the world a better place
Create an active Girl Scout community in the City of West Sacramento by (1) supporting and retaining existing members - girls and adults -, (2)Â recruiting new members, and (3) engaging local agencies and business through local events and opportunities hosted by the service unit, the community and Girl Scouts Hearth of Central California.
Work with GSHCC Council to secure an indoor facility for Troops to use for meetings.
Host events to support Troop Leaders with badge earning activities.
Continuously survey the wants and needs of the Troops.
All SU Leads (Operation, Membership, and Program) attends nine Mission Delivery Meetings hosted by Council.
Invite GSHCC Representatives to Service Unit events to foster a cohesive environment.
Nominate adult volunteers for Service Unit and Council Board Approved awards.
Be deliberate and transparent with the prospective nominations by having open communication.
Develop a fiscally sustainable plan to raise funds and subsidize Service Unit events to support Troops.
